Sound I Caring.
Sound
Virgil Widrich presented his work for the topic 'Film and Sound'. He talked about his current film 'Die Nacht der tausend Stunden'.Virgil explained how the sound works in multiple levels and techniques, and how it is one of the most important parts of visual works. He talked about the idea of the film and the steps he had taken to reach this point, and showed almost all of the important elements for making a movie, and the connection between the sound and the scene.
Care
Heather Beardsley presented her semester project for the topic 'Care', as she described it ''I am researching care for the social by examining social otherness as manifested in sea monsters and anthropomorphic visuals in maps. as the research progresses I will find ways to make representations of contemporary social and cultural conflicts using this visual language'"Julian Wiesner also presented his work for the topic 'Care'; a video about wildlife and the behavior of animals in and out of the lab.
At the end, Eleni Boutsika-Palles presented her work as part of the 'Care for the tools and future' chapter.
