About - Ulrike Exner

Ulrike Exner was born in Vienna in 1977. In her master studies in Earth sciences at the University of Vienna she investigated the structural features and age of high-pressure rock in northern Italy. In 2005 she received a PhD at the ETH Zurich, where she performed analogue models of geological structures. In her post-doc projects at the University of Vienna projects she created numerical simulations of faults and analyzed microstructures of near-surface faults.
