At the core of MedAustron lies the Gantry, a seven meters tall, 200 tonne machine that is capable of bending the accelerated
proton beam and direct it towards the tumorous cells. However much it is responsible for the patients healing, the cues of
immense effort and expertise are completely hidden behind smooth, dogmatic surfaces of care and coziness, reflecting the fantasies
of the people who designed it. Blending in aims at raising doubts about whether even, designed surfaces are capable of transmitting
the initial human emotions and care.
