ROUNDTABLE

Field research

Sergio Valenzuela

In this week's Roundtable, Sergio Valenzuela shared progress on his body and text project. The main reflection revolves around how to share knowledge about reality using his body as a compilation of methods and techniques. The performance will involve his body, tattoed with text on method and technique, being scanned and copied by the audience. The audience will be invited to create a collage and read out what they found inscribed on his skin. The experience questions the representation of knowledge and how the 'performance art' is a cabinet of processes or a compilation book of methods and techniques.

The rest of the Roundtable was a lecture by Georgios Papadopoulos on 'Representing Sustainabilty- Economic Discourse and Artistic Practise'
