ABOUT - Jasjote Grewal

 
Jasjote Grewal is the ELSI Helpdesk Coordinator at BBMRI-ERIC, and is the coordinating partner for the collaboration between BBMRI-ERIC and the Art & Science Department, University of Applied Arts Vienna. Jasjote is a lawyer by training, having qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2010 with a niche health and social care law firm in London. She was also a Research Fellow in Biolaw at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences, Hannover, where she investigated ethical, legal and societal issues (ELSI) in the context of various international scientific projects. Jasjote has received advocacy training at the EURORDIS Expert Patient & Researcher Summer School, and has conducted research at the University of Oxford, as well as the World Health Organization, Geneva.

In parallel to her work at BBMRI-ERIC, Jasjote is studying Art & Science at the University Applied Arts Vienna.
