Object Concern Facilitator

Diploma Project

Ashley Holwell offered his services as an 'Object Concern Facilitator' to the Museum of Natural History Vienna, which enthusiastically accepted, and incorporated the role into the museum structure over an initial trial period of four weeks in May, 2012.
Through an ongoing relationship with indistinct human and non-human actors within the museum, begun in October, 2011, the role provides a medium for translation of objects and exchange, in an area remaining outside of formal attention in institutional structures, and wider collectives.
