The stroke in action points to the process of inspiration. The line as visualization of observations is narrowing down and hints at ways of interpretation.
The installation "strichweise“ picks up the scientific tradition of "bringing-things-to-the-line" and traces the perception of landscape. The dynamic panel transforms horizons to strokes and condenses them by blurring to a composite line. The interferences add up to layers of densities, that point to cultural inscriptions into landscapes and attempt to question: "How do landscapes influence our sentiment?"
