Your Mental Internation Distance (MID) Measuring Tool
An approach to understand the social distance between two people from different cultures
Every culture has their own idea about the appropriate distance for people to keep between each other. This distance is very
abstract. How should people from different cultures, from different nations, keep the proper distance between each other?
I want to make a simple tool to easily calculate an approximate culture distance in real social situations. All the information is generalised and uses American personal distances as a standard. Using simple information on the differences between nations, everyone can work out how much distance to keep.
In this project there are three aspects I want to focus on:
The proposed format will be a small book and add a pencil with ruler or line so that people can easily to use MID measuring tool.

In this project there are three aspects I want to focus on:
- How to use national differences to calculate an actual distance between two people.
- A question of how science looks at nationalities and culture.
- As a method to understand how much you know about another culture.
The proposed format will be a small book and add a pencil with ruler or line so that people can easily to use MID measuring tool.
