Representing the Invisible – Translating Dark Matter

In particle physics as well as in the social science, the observer is a dialectic entity, it enables the disclosure of a phenomenon as well as it influences and distorts the context in which the observation takes place. Within its core, the project: “Representing the Invisible: Translating Dark Matter” by Hans Frauenschuh and Maximilian Gallo shows the approaches of seven scientists from the Institute for High Energy Physics on Dark Matter while at the same time willingly obscuring the approach of the two interviewers. These approaches and perspectives are presented in an installation that itself creates its own secluded space.
