Being unknowingly set to a particular perspective is something we encounter constantly in everyday life. Without realizing
it, we are tuned to a certain tone — one that shapes how we perceive and respond to the world around us.
One subtle yet powerful example is color temperature. From the warm glow of evening sunlight to the cool, bluish light of screens and artificial lighting, these visual tones influence how we feel and how we relate to the world around us.
But what if you can’t tell whether the light is warm or cold? Without direct comparison, we lack a clear reference point. We lose track of what “neutral” even means. The eye adjusts. The mind follows.
In this space, the light will shift — gradually, imperceptibly — between warm and cold. What becomes your new neutral? And how does the tone you’ve adapted to shape what you notice and how you react to it?
