Description
Come, let’s take a walk. Have you noticed this path before? I swear, I walk down this street every day but I’ve never seen it. Strange. That doorway too, it’s like it appeared out of nowhere…

What memories and images can we grasp at to make sense of our home? We would like to invite you to share our idiosyncratic interpretations of the city, and for you to share yours with us. Join us as we become Flâneur*innen, exploring familiar sites and sights through new eyes. These installations are temporary, installed just for the duration of the Angewandte Festival 2020. A live guided tour of the city will take place on the 26th June, starting in Gassergasse 39 (1050) at 12.30pm. A section of the tour will be live streamed on zoom between 3pm and 4pm. We will share our live-locations so that people can find and join us at any time during the day.

Keep an eye on this facebook page where the link to this location sharing will be posted.

Works by: Maria Bacila, Mila Balzhieva, Helen Emily Davy, Paula Flores, Els van Houtert, Klara Krämer, Alfredo Ledesma Quintana, Naoki Matsuyama, Jannis Neumann, Lindsey Nicholson, Peter Reischl, Miloš Vučićević, Marko Markovic.
