European Policy: Francesco Florindi

Francesco Florindi is the Engagement Officer at BBMRI-ERIC, and is responsible for engaging with all relevant stakeholders. With a background in International Relations and Diplomacy, he has an advocacy role and represents the interests of the biobanking and biomolecular and medical research community at European level. Francesco is also responsible for activities of the Stakeholder Forum, which includes representatives from patient advocacy groups, citizen groups, academia and industry, which are involved and/or affected by biobanking activities. The Forum is the main interface for them to interact with the biobanking field, and is set up to allow for participatory governance to include stakeholder concerns into the activities of BBMRI-ERIC.
