Lecture and Craft Workshop
Monica C. LoCascio, alumna of the Art & Science programme visited us to hold a special workshop. Monica is a transdisciplinary
artist whose work explores the materiality of invisible phenomena – connecting memory, microbiology, and artistic research
through bio-materials, craft, and speculative thinking.
As part of the session, she introduced weaving as a method of artistic inquiry, including building a simple loom and exploring how materials, stories, and making can form a feedback loop within research.
