About - Naoki Matsuyama
Naoki Matsuyama is a social science and artistic researcher. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Weibel Institute for Digital
Cultures of the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, where he is carrying out research at the intersection of digital technologies,
finance, and temporalities, under the supervision of Prof. Clemens Apprich. He holds master’s degrees in Science Technology
Studies (University of Vienna) and Art & Science (University of Applied Arts, Vienna). He has worked for over a decade as
an editor, translator, and writer, with a particular focus on Japanese contemporary art and theory. He is an editorial associate
of the interdisciplinary journal Limn (https://limn.press).
