The installation aims to question the social and political perspective towards abandoned objects, buildings, and displaced communities. and to focus attention on things that already or that might inevitably start happening in the future. Walls of those objects break and pass through the bordered spaces we have visited or places we remember in good and in bad spirits. Every heavy brick we carry with us is part of the house we created. We are the ones who build the walls, dig the foundations, but also demolish when it is necessary. What happens to the memories and customs after tomorrow and what about our future? How might be the future of the people that inhabit those areas is one of the topics that this art installation aims to question. www.milosvucicevic.com
