The Sun God is a piece inspired by human nature to create their gods and assign to materialistic things almost godly properties.
The sculpture made of clay is a reference to Christian mythology, with God creating Adam from the dust. It also references
the words: “God created us in his own image.” It highlights the problem of most depictions of Christ in European churches,
being made to be a very white and very blonde man, when in fact, he was Middle Eastern. It shows that we in fact made God
in our own image.
