Excursion to Linz
Students of Art & Science and guest students visited several institutions in Linz:
Thanks to Amir Bastan, *artist and researcher at Creative Robotics for introducing; Creative Robotics is a research unit within the University for Arts and Design Linz that was set up with the goal of investigating robotics as an interface between the digital and physical world.
Thanks to Till Schönwetter, for guiding the group through the Grand Garage, one of Europe’s biggest maker spaces, located at the Tabakfabrik Linz.
Thanks to Veronika Liebl, Managing Director of Festival/Prix/Exhibitions at Ars Electronica. She introduced the Ars Electronica centre and shared her experiences in curating and organising art-science collaborations and residencies over the past 14 years.
