About - Agnes Schyberg

Agnes Schyberg (she/her) is a visual artist based in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Vienna. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Jutland Art Academy (2020–2025) and has pursued further studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (2022) and the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan (2023–2024), and currently, a master’s in Art & Science at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte).

She works research-based with a background in geography. Working with installation and sculpture. Currently, conceptually developing the terms speculative and synthetic geologies. Her work follows restless material categories and mapping politics, where materials intra-act and the natural becomes negotiable (remade, replaced, and imagined otherwise).
