Bio

Curator and Researcher, born 1985 in Flensburg, Germany, graduated in theatre, film and media studies (Magistra, University of Vienna) and art history (BA, University of Vienna). I joined the Department for Image Science (DanubeU) as research associate for a research project on the archive of digital art (ADA, digitalartarchive.at, funded by Austrian Science Fund) in 2016, co-developing online exhibitions and curatorial research on digital artists. Since 2020, I am PhD Candidate at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong (HK Fellowship program).

Research

My research is about collaborative practices in art-science, particularly from the perspective of knowledge integration. How can artistic, public, and other forms of knowledge be integrated into the sciences and vice versa? The idea is not to make art a part of scientific knowledge but to understand the diverse fields which take part in knowledge creation. I apply methods from art history, sociology, and philosophy of science to investigate this interdisciplinary field.
