Barbara Böröcz

Art & Science, Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien
Master project

Barbara Böröcz (born in Hungary) did her bachelor’s degree at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a special interest in Arts Marketing and the functioning of cultural institutions. Before starting her studies at the Art & Science department she has been professionally active in the fields of social entrepreneurship.

Currently her research practice is rooted in observations on natural, economic or behaviour patterns to be discovered in our society and environment. Her artistic practice reflects upon those patterns and how changes on a macro level are impacting our inner world, “recreating images” with the help of photography, video and prints.
