Ulrike Exner

Ulrike Exner (b. 1977, Vienna) studied a master’s in Earth sciences at the University of Vienna, in which she investigated the structural features and age of high-pressure rock in northern Italy. In 2005 she received a PhD at the ETH Zurich, where she performed analogue models of geological structures. In her post-doc projects at the University of Vienna projects she created numerical simulations of faults and analyzed microstructures of near-surface faults.
