About - Rafael Lippuner

Exhibition and Programme Coordinator

Rafael Lippuner studied Kunst + Vermittlung at HSLU in Switzerland, as well as at the master’s programme Art & Science at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where he worked as student assistant and graduated with commendation in 2019.

Combining different fields of exhibition production, his experiences encompass curatorial work, documentation, display production and installation, both in the context of institutional art representation as well as gallery operation. In his artistic practice, the surroundings and our role in it serve as a starting point. What we extract from nature, and what processes are triggered as a result are questions about autonomy, about how far we embody the systems we set in motion. In Rafael´s eyes, production is a process that informs and shapes us as prosumers, and the contested object is our perception. He is part of different organisations and associations concerned with the arts.
