The living world operates in synchrony with the sun. Light and darkness define human biology. They regulate our circadian rhythms—our bodies’ intrinsic clocks, which are in turn crucial to maintaining good health. New developments in the fields of digital health, performance research or ‘biohacking’ our circadian rhythms, promise us potentially dramatic improvements to our health and wellbeing - but to whom are these developments truly addressed? How much of this is really relevant to the way we live? How much can our societies be shaped by new research? When and for whom?

Manifested through a blend of the artist’s original musical compositions and a collage of visuals sourced from commercials, cinematic excerpts, YouTube clips, and the artist’s personal video diary, the film serves as a contemplation on sunlight and its absence.
