Deep in the Mine

Sexual assault is rife within countless mining zones across the globe. This sound collage (a work in progress) comprises of secondary voice recordings of women who have suffered sexual violence in such regions. As each woman recounts her story, her voice is ultimately lost within the layers of audio, an analogy to the depth of the mine.
