MEDUSE

The choreography is built around the sensation of the body in a constantly changing environment. The proposition of change and mobility and how it manifests itself in ecological systems. Choreographed homeostasis, dynamic equilibrium, and “flux of nature”. The piece refers to Joanna Macy’s (environmental activist, author, deep ecologist) concept: the greening of the self. “How humans shift from ego-self to eco-self.”
