Outside of your house

Sitting at the dinner table is always story time, of times I never knew. Stories that allowed to visualize places that don’t exist anymore as how they were described. Generational anecdotes filtered through vernacular language that allowed for more wonder and imagination. In this dinner table landscape installation, I link my family history to colonialism of nature and indigenous cultures in Mexico in different periods from 1900‘s to the present.
