The works Women Have No Stamina (Male Noise) and The Reading List explore the relationship between socially constructed and perpetuated gender bias and the biological and neurological reasons for the assumed gender binary. Biologically essentialist reasoning of the physical and/or intellectual superiority of men serves to this day as a universal excuse and explanation for the imbalanced state of (not just) STEM fields; and a safe way to avoid mentioning the patriarchy, power and misogyny.
