Matilde Baldassari (b* 2002, Italy) works at the intersection between art and science. With a preference for installation, her works unceasingly scrutinise the body. Deformed, dismembered, broken, digitally augmented, and stitched back together are the bodies present in her production.
Furthermore, the artefacts these bodies interact with, are also questions present in her work. Lastly, it is only recently that info-data accumulation, virtuo-digital prosthetics, and AI romance have become topics of her artistic interest.
