About - Anna Buchner

Anna Buchner (b. 2000) is an artist currently working as a trainer at RoboManiacs, a program dedicated to introducing children and young people to coding, robotics, and digital literacy in the STEM fields through playful and creative courses.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Vienna. Anna was a co-founder of Cyan Cycle, a project aimed at developing a bioreactor that uses cyanobacteria to capture CO₂ and produce sustainable biomass for bioethanol production. She also worked at the astronomy subject library at the Institute of Astrophysics.

She is particularly interested in breaking down complex patterns while keeping a focus on making scientific ideas accessible to a broad audience. Her artistic practice mainly explores building bridges between physics, scientific methods, and the world of aesthetics. Beyond her studies, she is passionate about engaging with the European Bioeconomy Youth Group, is an enthusiastic theatre-goer, and enjoys festivals.
