About - Xavi Sosa
Xavi Sosa is a sound performer from Asuncion, Paraguay. There, they attended El Estudio Centro de Investigación y Divulgación
Teatral, and worked on many plays as an actor, director’s assistant and sound technician, as well as an independent musician.
In 2017, they moved to Vienna, Austria, where they received a BA in Political Science at the University of Vienna. Xavi is
currently completing a Master’s in Art & Science at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Interested in combining social and political theory with artistic research practices, Xavi’s work deals with questions of Power, Ideology, and Identity. Currently, they create conceptual works using sound as the main medium.
